How We Ensure A Proper Fit

At Dack's, we firmly believe you have the right to a proper fitting shoe. To achieve this we carefully fit footwear one foot at a time to the following time honored procedure.

We measure your foot to determine your approximate size. We examine the shoes you are presently wearing (inside and out) to "see" how they fit.

We check our extensive stock for the style you have requested and then match one or more pairs to your foot. One foot is usually a little larger than the other so it is possible some adjustment may be necessary to fit you comfortably. Our staff are highly trained in the art of fitting shoes and well qualified to make these adjustments when you buy a pair of shoes.

This Foot Is Properly Fitted

The toes are cramped and twisted, preventing ventilation and causing excessive perspiration which can rot the inner soles, linings and upper leather.

The base of the shoe and ball joint of the foot meet at the same point. The toes are straight and there is sufficient room in the front of them with no crowding and plenty of ventilation. These shoes will be comfortable, will hold their shape and provide much more wear.
